Tower Princess

The movie “Tangled” is Disney’s first computer animated movie. “Tangled” is a fairy tale of Rapunzel, the Tower Princess, that was renamed. This will be added to their many Disney Princess movies.

This is a tale of a good king with a very sick wife who is with child. She is saved from death with a magical flower. The magical flower’s powers are transferred to Rapunzel, her baby daughter. Rapunzel is kidnapped by the evil Mother Gothel, who wants to use the powers of the magical flower the princess has to be young and beautiful forever.

Rapunzel has lived in her own secret tower within the forest for eighteen years.  She has been trapped and wouldn’t be able to move before Mother Gothel releases her.

Mother Gothel keeps Rapunzel locked in a tower in the forest and never cuts the princess’s hair, which is the source of her extraordinary gift. This is how Rapunzel became the Tower Princess.  The witch uses the long hair to get to the tower every day.
Rapunzel escapes the tower, with the help of a good looking thief who is on the run. Although Rapunzel and Flynn do not get along at first, Rapunzel sees this as a chance to see the world. Mother Gothel works to recapture Rapunzel, seeing that she is falling in love with Flynn.

 

Tangled is one of Disney’s greatest movies in a long time. This Tower Princess has rave reviews.

Shrek The Third Rapunzel
